This takes at least two people.
The rail runs from the forward end of the stem to the aft end of the transom. Its
top edge is even to the top edge of the side. Apply adhesive to the inside of the
rail. Start at the stem and nail the rail into the stem with a 1 1/2 inch nail. |

Using 1
inch nails, nail the rail on from the inside at four inch intervals. Remember to use
the bucking iron. Have another pair of hands hold the end of the rail and bend it
into the boat as you nail.

You can also use clamps and move them as you nail.
Make sure youre getting good squeeze out!
Do the same for the other side and then cut off the excess. |
