Boat Raffle

WIN a BOAT!

Built out of traditional    materials by our volunteers and apprentices, this all-wooden canoe is a R.J. Douglas design, originally

built in 1887 as a sailing canoe.  This canoe

was built out of northern white cedar, using lapstrake construction and copper clinch nails. Trim and ribs are sassafras and the keel is

made from white oak.
